Draft for legal review, written with Zimbabwe's Cyber and Data Protection Act in mind. It will be finalised with a lawyer.

Who is responsible

Pillar Corp Global, Harare, Zimbabwe (info@pillarcorpglobal.com) runs Severina AI. For the records you keep about your own customers, you are responsible for them and we process them on your behalf.

What we collect

  • Setup requests: your name, WhatsApp or phone number, email and a description of your hustle.
  • Client accounts: your login, business details, bookkeeping entries, invoices, marketing posts and meeting notes.
  • Receipt photos and meeting recordings: processed to create entries or notes, then deleted. We don't keep the photo or the recording.
  • Chats: the public demo chat and website chats are not saved by us. They are sent to the AI to produce a reply.
  • Technical data: IP address and basic logs, used for security and to prevent abuse.

How we use it

Only to provide and improve Severina, contact you about your setup, keep the service secure, and meet legal duties. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who processes it

  • Google (Gemini API) processes messages, receipt photos and recordings to produce Severina's replies, under Google's paid-service terms.
  • Our hosting provider stores the service on a server in Johannesburg, South Africa.
  • Hostinger handles our email.

Some of these providers are outside Zimbabwe. We use providers with appropriate safeguards for this.

How long we keep it

Client records are kept while your account is active and for up to 12 months after it ends, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires longer. Setup requests that don't become clients are deleted after 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@pillarcorpglobal.com. You can also complain to Zimbabwe's data protection authority (POTRAZ).

Security

Each client's records are kept separate and are only visible to that client and to Pillar Corp Global staff who support them. Connections are encrypted (HTTPS) and backups are taken daily.
